Committed to the reclamation of her own power and spiritual nature, Maz is practically unrecognizable to the person she once was who lived recklessly and had such low self-esteem that she wasn’t even sure she had a future worth living for.
Struggling with chronic health conditions was a key piece contributing to her self-doubt and hopelessness. With mainstream medicine doing little for her, she had basically given up on her life choosing to be a wild party girl.
But the land called her home; throughout her time at university in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, a different part of her consciousness came online.
Studying environmental restoration illuminated that her body was also an ecosystem, and like the landscapes she studied, could be renewed. Eventually she found her way to more naturally oriented health care practitioners, but was so deeply jaded that she was initially resistant to their offerings.
Finally, it was a series of psychedelic journeys and a coming home to a spiritual way of life that opened her mind and heart to her capacity to take her healing into her own hands, comply with the protocols, and make the changes she needed to transform her life.
Her journey has been one of softening into self-love while cultivating confidence and a committed relationship with the intelligence of life itself.
Now she supports others in transforming self-doubt into confidence, has taught and facilitated in 3 continents, founded a successful herbal medicine brand and is excited about the future in ways she never thought would be possible.
